Motivated and committed volunteers in the DC area and elsewhere are needed now on an ongoing basis – many planning and organization tasks can be done remotely. Particular current needs include fundraising and publicity.
Many volunteers will be needed on site at the Conference. Reliable volunteers can earn a free registration by working for six hours between Thursday November 8 and Sunday November 11, to be scheduled by the volunteer coordinator.
Volunteer teams on site will include:
– Registration Desk (may include handling cash)
– Exhibit Tables (may include handling cash)
– Set up and running audio-visual equipment (previous experience an asset)
– gofers & venue setup
